Il film è stato girato interamente tra Reggio Calabria e comuni limitrofi, numerose locations sono state individuate sulla bellissima Costa Viola. La troupe ridotta di circa 30 persone ha lavorato con impegno, passione e versatilità . Quattro settimane di riprese no stop, 18 mila metri di pellicola 35 mm e 5 ore di girato in HD, che equivalgono a circa il 15% del film.

Quasi 200 comparse impiegate, che hanno lavorato tutte in forma di volontariato. Più di 15 i mezzi di scena anni 70’ utilizzati, Più di mille litri di acqua consumati, per far fronte a temperature anche intorno ai 45 gradi che ha caratterizzato il mese di riprese.

Le scene del Canada, sono state girate in Aspromonte in due giorni. Le scene delle barricate sono state girate presso Campo Calabro

Nessuna lite, nessun incidente a parte quello accorso al regista, menisco rotto e tantissimo entusiasmo da parte di tutto il territorio.

Ringraziamento a tutta la popolazione di Reggio Calabria e Campo Calabro, alle autorità portuali di Reggio Calabria, a coloro che ci hanno permesso di girare nelle loro residenze private, all’albergo Hotel De La Ville di Villa S.Giovanni, che ci ha ospitato. Nessun ringraziamento al museo di Reggio, che ci ha chiesto troppi soldi per girare presso le stanze dei Bronzi di Riace, impedendoci di girare e di conseguenza di promuovere i nostri beni culturali.

NOTES OF DIRECTION

The story takes place between past and present.
